    Are you serious?
Yes, you put it into a bowl and then invert it onto a plate.
    You are correct.

If you find the rice is sticking. make the inside of the bowl wet first.

wash your rice three time in a strainer. then add i cup of rice to 2 cups of water. add a splash of rice vinegar and 2 pinches of salt and a dollop of honey. bring it to a boil uncovered, stir well then cover and reduce heat to low. in 12 minutes, you will have the good rice…mold it with a greased soup cup!

putting vinegar in it makes a type of sushi rice, which is fine, but isn’t exactly what you want i don’t think. we do this all the time at my house. line a small bowl or rameken with plastic wrap. put the hot rice in and wait just a couple minutes. then invert the bowl and use the edges of the wrap to pull it out. there you go!
