Question by Neil B: How many generations are we away from eating all our meals in restaurants?
I’m 52 and every meal I ate for the first 18 years of my life was cooked by my mama. There was only one restaurant in my small town. I still live in that same small town and there are at least 50 restaurants in the area. My wife never cooks. How long will it be before we don’t even have a kitchen in our houses?

Question by Eric: Does eating out at restaurants help the economy?
Would it matter if I ate at a fast food chain versus some small diner or small family owned restaurant? If everyone at out at restaurants, patronized small businesses more, wouldn’t this help the economy, and are there certain small businesses that help the economy more than others? Can people in general help the economy improve over time?

yes spending money at any business helps the economy. It’s saving money by stuffing it under the bed that doesn’t do any good. If that money was in a bank, the bank would be free to use it and you would earn interest. Same with the stock market. Money in the stock market is money that businesses can use, while you earn interest on what they are using. By putting money into businesses, and banks it increases the flow of cash within the economy, thus making it better.

Question by Haylsinator: Are vegans opposed to eating at restaurants that offer animal by-product items?
Do vegans dine at restaurants that offer meat and other animal related food items? Is it common or uncommon for them to do so? Thank you very much for any help.

A lot of it depends on how militant they are, and if they have a lot of non-vegan friends. Most of my vegan friends will, but I have known some in the past who were very particular about it and refused to go anywhere near animal products, which meant they were rather difficult to be around.
