I’m 52 and every meal I ate for the first 18 years of my life was cooked by my mama. There was only one restaurant in my small town. I still live in that same small town and there are at least 50 restaurants in the area. My wife never cooks. How long will it be before we don’t even have a kitchen in our houses?

You pay 2.19 or something for a free refillable pop, but it costs the restaurant just pennies for the syrup to make pop for a dozen cups.

I notice @ some Chinese restaurants (in TX where I live) the kung pao shrimp is NOT deveined but their jumbo garlic shrimp is. WTF? Anyone know why?
I buy my shrimp peeled AND deveined & sometimes precooked!

I think they are just used to it that way. I usually don’t order shrimp from Chinese places as they often still have the eyes on too.
